The circle of life

The world is, after all, a very small place. Today I received word from my older brother that he was stationed at Can Tho during the war. And Kris is reading a book by a woman that he dated while he was there. The circle of life.

So amidst all this sychronicity we plug on with preparations - working on the outline, preparing the materials, looking in what to wear and not to wear, and waiting to hear back from the clinic that has called another clinic about anti-malarial meds. Immediacy blurrs with the existential, the practical with the protocol. And somehow the work gets done, and life moves forward.
